Good work deserves a name
Our founder's note quotes the Bhagavad Gita: "yogaḥ karmasu kauśalam" — yoga is skill in action (2.50). This page is for that. An electrician who traces a fault with care. A dry cleaner who handles a wedding saree with care. A stylist who gives full attention at someone's door.
We don't write these stories for pros. We listen, write it down, and they decide what goes up.

Every story is: written from an interview, approved by the pro word for word, and dated.
Their story, their say
Written consent first. — A signed consent form (paper or a clear written reply on WhatsApp) before any interview is recorded or photo is taken for this page.
Pro approves the final version. — They see the exact text and photo before it goes up. Nothing is published without their "yes" in writing.
Withdraw anytime. — A pro can ask for their story to come down at any time, for any reason. We remove it within 24 hours and confirm on WhatsApp.
Choose what's shown. — Full name or first name only; locality or not; face or hands-only photo.
No effect on ranking. — Being featured (or saying no) never changes MatchScore or level.
No payment for stories, either way. — Pros don't pay to be featured; we don't make it a condition of anything.
Customers in photos — only with their own written consent; otherwise no customers, no house numbers, no identifiable homes.
Language. — Interviews can happen in whatever language the pro is comfortable in; the published story is in English at launch and is read back to the pro in full before they approve it.
Photos with dignity
- Show the craft: hands at work, tools, a finished job. Natural light.
- Real, not staged: their own work clothes and tools. No props or costume.
- Eye level, not looking down. Frame them as the expert they are.
- Safety visible: proper practice in the shot (e.g. mains off for electrical work, gloves where used).
- Privacy: no customer faces, house numbers, vehicle plates, or documents in frame.
- No heavy filters or edits beyond basic light and crop.
- Hands-only option for anyone who prefers not to show their face.
What we ask (pro can skip any question)
